H.R. 1955: Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007

According to govrack.us 8 out of 9 Indiana U.S. Representatives voted for H.R. 1955 therefore voting against the constitutional rights of All American Citizens. H.R. 1955 is aimed at curbing so called Domestic Terrorism by American Citizens. The whole bill is completely contrary to the whole history of our country.

"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.— That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Does this seem familiar... It should! This is am excerpt from the u.S. Declaration of Independence signed in 1776.

It is of my opinion that over the years our government has undoubtedly surpassed their bounds within the powers granted to them by the united States Constitution. It is also the views of many others that have over time sought without violence to ensure the rights of all Americans are kept in tact for future generations. Due to the recent rise in the number of Americans that now see the encroachment of our government on the unalienable rights of the people. Our government is trying to silence these foes of our unconstitutional government.

As I stated before many have over time tried to correct these unconstitutional actions with non violence as many are still trying to do. But according to the House of Representatives we as Equal citizens and creators and master of our Government no longer have a right of redress and no longer have a right if it came to such means as to take violent action in order to secure the rights of our children and our children's children.

Below is a list of Indiana Representatives that voted to pass this bill. Please call them to express your distaste in their actions. This bill is now up for vote in the Senate and with our Rep. Dick Lugar's record you can be assured a yes vote from him if you do not call him today.
