Last month on the 29th of March the Mexican Counsulate used taxpayer property to issue the Matricula card to some of it's citizens who are illegally in our country! We in Indiana just worked on legislation to help rid our state of illegal aliens not to aid and abet them!
Below is an e-mail you can send to the state Representatives and Senators from Jackson County you can contact to express anger over this issue!

Dear Representative.

On March 29th 2008 the Mexican Consulate in conjunction with the Jackson County Education center issued the Matricula Consular card to it's citizens. At issue here is that only illegal aliens need these ID's as legal immigrants possess the necessary identification needed to live and move about legally in America. I don't think taxpayer property should be allowed to be used to conduct the illegal activity of aiding and abetting illegal aliens by the Mexican Consulate. This past session of the Indiana legislature the illegal alien matters bills SB 335 and HB 1219 passed by large margins and would have enforced illegal alien legislation in Indiana. A vast majority of Hoosiers want illegal immigration laws enforced in Indiana and allowing the Mexican Consulate to issue the Matricula card to illegal aliens in Indiana is NOT acceptable!
We at Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement ( IFIRE ) would like this situation addressed ASAP.
There should be a moratorium on the use of taxpayer property by any foreign government for the assistance of their citizens legally or illegally in our country till the 2009 Indiana legislature can review the legality of this issue.
Thank you

You can modify this e-mail to send to the Senators if you wish, or make up your own email telling them how you feel.
