I am going to be in the Bahamas Sept 7-11. I wanted to let everyone know that I am entering the country LEGALLY! Sure, it took time to fill out the application, and to WAIT for the proper paperwork to be filed and sent back to me. I did this because I respect the sovereignty of the government of the Bahamas and their legal right to decide who comes into their country and how they are going to enter it...that and the fact they will PUT ME IN JAIL if I am found there illegaly...LOL! Even though the Bahamas is one of the easiest countries in the world to visit they still have SOME laws concering immigration. (Paying attention Washington?)
I thought this might make a good topic for this forum. Have any of you visited another country? If so, share your experiences concerning visas and the like so that we might make comparisons to our own country's laws, or lack of; and the respect we give other nations towards their laws.
